Frequently asked questions
Will the wheels roll on carpet, or only on hard floors?The sliders roll best on hardwood, tile, and other smooth surfaces. On low-pile carpet they still glide, though you may need a little more push to get moving.
How do I get the furniture back off the sliders once it's in place?
Use the steel lifter bar to raise the corner again, then slide the wheeled piece out from under the leg. Lower the furniture gently and it sits flat on the floor.
Does the lifter bar need any tools or assembly?
No tools are needed. The lifter bar is ready to use right out of the box, and the four sliders are separate pieces you simply place under each corner.
Can I use this on furniture with legs instead of a flat base?
Yes. Whether your dresser has short legs or a flat bottom, you lift each corner with the bar and tuck a wheeled slider underneath before moving.
How to use
- Place one wheeled slider near each corner of the furniture you want to move.
- Slide the steel lifter bar under one corner and push down on it to raise that side.
- Tuck a slider under the lifted leg or corner, then lower it onto the wheels.
- Repeat for all four corners until the whole piece rests on the sliders.
- Push the furniture slowly to its new spot, then lift each corner again to remove the sliders.
